"This helps to cock the bow, if you have weaker upper body strength, by adding more leverage. Also the cocking arm and trigger mechanism are strengthened. You can keep the original cocking arm and trigger mechanism for spares ( always handy ) And the more powerful limb set gives you more range and penetration. All in all, a worthwhile investment for your Cobra Adder"

WOW !!! big accuracy improvement

"WOW !!! big accuracy improvement. I shoot my speed bag at 100 feet with a 10x scope. The stock bolts would drop 10 to 12 inches with 130lbs limb. I had to set the scope to account for the drop. Now with the 180lbs limb my drop is like 1 to 2 inches. I had to readjust the scope. The left to right and grouping in general went from. 6 to 12 inches to like 1 to 2 inches at 100 feet. Fps went from 242fps to 275+ fps with stock blue target bolts. Amazing how a little extra speed changes everything on two fetching bolts. Can't wait to try 15 inch single 3 blade bolts for hunting. I was worried if i hit a small deer it would be a inhumane take down. Not with the v2 kit. Now i feel like i could take out a 120lbs animal like a switch and actually pull off a good kill shot at 100 to 150 feet. The stock limb is just wild shots 6 to 12 inches is to unpredictable when hunting. 1 to 2 inches is much better. The crossbow still will throws a wild bolt from time to time that is like a foot off target even with the v2 kit? Support please chime in on this if you found a reason or solution!!! I assume the string hits the knock funny or something. It is always a different bolt so that is not it."

Easy install for nice power upgrade

"It's pretty easy to install the new arm / rail / trigger mechanism, shouldn't take but about 20 minutes of time and it gives a nice power upgrade. I would be careful if you have the adder carrying bag though, it won't fit in it after the upgrade, but it will fit in the cobra siege bag"

Super rad

"Got one of these as getting an ar-15 is a pain in the buttocks in Los Angeles paperwork wise so I got this for home defense. I have played with it and shot some targets and what not and my god……. . it may not be as fast but it most certainly will get the job done. This is not a toy and not a gimmick this is a lethal weapon and must be taken seriously and used safely. I intend on taking it boar hunting this year and have zero doubt it will do the job. Small deer and elk maybe a bear even I have no doubt it would do the job, love it! Thank you guys."

Pull the trigger on this, I promise it's worth it.

"I already had the venom extreme limb installed on my Adder, so I haven't used the 180lb one that came with this. But, the rest of it, wow! I didn't think it'd make the difference it did, but the extended/reinforced lever makes it feel like a whole new crossbow. I'm only needing to give it about 50-60% of the force I previously needed to rack it at 220lbs, and my girlfriend can even do it without issue now. The arrow rail seems to be better engineered, as the magazine (I kept the stock one) doesn't seem to have nearly as much give, meaning the optics will retain better accuracy. The black and red striped string was a color-match bonus, wish we could order those separately. All in all, absolutely worth it."
